Job Description

Able to read and understand WPDS to set up and operate welding machines. Perform work as assigned. Weld/Assemble parts accurately and efficiently to the Drawings/Instructions Provided. Cleaning parts as required. Demonstrated ability to operate a variety of small machines(i.e. Drill press, Acetylene Torches etc). Assist in counting and organizing product and sub components. Maintain accurate records. Check parts for correct dimensions and other specifications, working in accordance with our ISO procedures. Clean/maintain equipment, Tools and shop as required. Select and transport material to work area manually or using crane, hoist, and forklift.Work safely and co-operatively in a team environment. Must have ability to read Imperial and Metric Measuring Systems.

  • Degree or diploma in a manufacturing-related field
  • Three years of related experience
  • Certifications or licences appropriate to manufacturing industry
  • Knowledge of appropriate materials, methods, and tools required in various assembly processes
  • Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible  manner
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, walk, and stand for long periods of  time
  • Ability to perform strenuous physical labour
  • Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
